Makes 2 drinks
Ingredients
28g Tim Horton’s medium roast (2 shots [14g] per drink)
2 cups whole milk (1 cup per drink)
2 cups ice (1 cup per drink)
chocolate sauce
2 tbsp 100% cocoa powder
2 tbsp 50% – 70% cocoa powder
1 tsp cornstarch
1/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
2 cups whole milk
Procedure
Add all chocolate sauce ingredients to a saucepan except cornstarch.
Constantly whisk; after about 2 minutes, gradually stir in the cornstarch.
Keep stirring until syrup becomes thick.
Once finished, put half in an espresso cup and brew 2 shots of espresso directly into the syrup. Mix together well. Do a second time for the second drink, if necessary.
Prepare glasses with 1 cup ice and 1 cup milk each, and pour mocha overtop the milk and ice.
