{"id":798,"date":"2025-02-28T21:55:40","date_gmt":"2025-02-28T21:55:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fmidnight.com\/gourmet\/?p=798"},"modified":"2025-05-23T03:23:54","modified_gmt":"2025-05-23T03:23:54","slug":"iced-mocha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fmidnight.com\/gourmet\/iced-mocha\/","title":{"rendered":"Butter Ganache Iced Mocha"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Makes 6 drinks<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>9 cups 2% or whole milk (1 1\/2 cup per drink)<br>84g Tim Hortons original roast (2 shots [14g] per drink)<br>cocoa powder as needed<br>ice as needed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Butter Ganache<\/strong><br>1 1\/2 cups 70% dark chocolate chips<br>1\/2 cup 2% or whole milk<br>6 tbsp unsalted butter<br>1 tbsp corn starch<br>1\/2 tbsp hazelnut syrup<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Procedure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Microwave  1\/2 cup of milk until foaming (1:30 to 2 min).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place butter in milk until softened but not melted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a bowl, pour milk\/butter overtop chocolate and add corn starch; mix until thick and butter is incorporated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour 1\/3 cup of the ganache into a small measuring cup and brew coffee directly into the cup using method of choice. I use a double shot espresso machine. Mix well once done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prepare a tall glass with ice and milk.
