{"id":1001,"date":"2025-06-03T17:25:20","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T17:25:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fmidnight.com\/gourmet\/?p=1001"},"modified":"2025-12-15T04:38:37","modified_gmt":"2025-12-15T04:38:37","slug":"dark-chocolate-iced-mocha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fmidnight.com\/gourmet\/dark-chocolate-iced-mocha\/","title":{"rendered":"Dark Chocolate Iced Mocha"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Makes 2 drink<\/em>s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>28g Tim Horton&#8217;s medium roast (2 shots [14g] per drink)<br>2 cups whole milk (1 cup per drink)<br>2 cups ice (1 cup per drink)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>chocolate sauce<\/strong><br>2 tbsp 100% cocoa powder<br>2 tbsp 50% &#8211; 70% cocoa powder<br>1 tsp cornstarch<br>1\/4 cup confectioner&#8217;s sugar<br>2 cups whole milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Procedure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Add all chocolate sauce ingredients to a saucepan except cornstarch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Constantly whisk; after about 2 minutes, gradually stir in the cornstarch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep stirring until syrup becomes thick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once finished, put half in an espresso cup and brew 2 shots of espresso directly into the syrup. Mix together well.
